 Rishikesh is also known as Hrishikesh.it is a city which is governed by Rishikesh Municipal corporation and a tehsil near Dehradun district of the Indian state Uttarakhand. It is located in foothill of Himalayas in the north India it is known as gateway of Garhwal Himalayas and yoga capital of the world .it lies 21Km(13miles) north of the city Haridwar and 45 km(28miles) of the southeast of the state capital of Dehradun.

1. Triveni Ghat

Ram Jhula is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges located 3 Kilometres (1.9) in north-east from the town of Rishikesh in Indian state of Uttarakhand. The bridge connects the Sivananda Nagar area of Muni ki Reti in Tehri Garhwal district to Swargashram in Pauri Garhwal district crossing in the river from west to east. Built in Year 1986 the bridge is one of the iconic landmark of the Rishikesh. 3.Parmarth nikethan ashram

It is one of top yoga Center in India and the biggest ashram in the area which is suited on the bank of the Holy Ganges river. The Lakshman jhula us a famous hanging bridge across the river ganga that connects two villages Tapovan in the tehri Garhwal district and Jonk in the Pauri Garhwal district. It is located in the town of Rishikesh in Indian State of Uttarakhand the entire bridge is made up of iron is 450 feet from it is situated at the height of 70 feet from the river.
